What Is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique, developed by Francesco Cirillo, breaks work into short, focused intervals separated by regular breaks. In the classic version, a 25-minute focus block is followed by a 5-minute break; repeating this cycle reduces distraction and turns long tasks into manageable chunks.
How to Use It
Adjust the durations to your liking, then click "Start" to begin your focus block. When time runs out, you'll hear a sound and (if you allow it) get a desktop notification; the timer automatically switches to a break. Your completed session count is saved in your browser and stays there even after you close and reopen the page.
