Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, and how, when you visit the ClockNook ("site", "we") website. By using the site, you accept this policy.

2. Data We Collect

ClockNook's core tools (clock, alarm, stopwatch, countdown, calendar) run entirely in your browser; your personal data is never sent to or stored on a server by us. The site's hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser information, visit time) for security and performance purposes.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

The site stores settings such as your theme preference, time format (12/24), chosen time zone, and any alarms you create in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data stays only on your own device, is never sent to us, and is deleted when you clear your browser data.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used and to improve it. GA4 collects aggregated, anonymized usage statistics such as pages visited, session duration, approximate geographic location (country/city level), device and browser type, and where traffic comes from; it does not collect data that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address.

For GA4 to collect this data, it needs to place a cookie in your browser. This cookie is only activated once you select "Accept" in the cookie notice: under Google's Consent Mode v2 standard, no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google before you give consent. You can stop analytics data collection at any time by selecting "Reject", or later by blocking these cookies in your browser's cookie settings. For more on how Google processes data, see the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Services

No advertising service currently runs on the site — only the Google Analytics described above. If an advertising service such as Google AdSense is added in the future, Google and its partners may place cookies in your browser and show ads based on your interests. To learn about and manage such third-party cookies, you can visit Google's Advertising Policies and Google Ads Settings. This policy will be updated if such a change occurs.

6. Children's Privacy

The site does not target a specific age group and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You can unilaterally delete all preferences stored in local storage from your browser settings. If you want to change your cookie notice choice, clearing your browser's site data for this domain and reloading the page will show the notice again. For questions about your data, reach us via our Contact page.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be published on this page.
